I have been with The Tell Organisation since 1994; I am responsible for all Employability programmes such as Training for Work, Get Ready for Work and Job Search Support contracts. My role is to seek out opportunities and new business ideas for employability programmes. I am a people person, am very passionate about my role and I enjoy meeting new people. Prior to joining The Tell Organisation in 1990 I worked for both private and public sectors organisations and was a returning adult to Secondary School education at the age of 26 years. Since joining Tell I have continued my education through both the Higher and Vocational Education routes as I consider it paramount that as a strong ambassador and advocate for Life Long Learning, I practice what I preach. I have developed an in-depth knowledge and understanding of vocational learning through my role as Lead Verifier and QA Co-ordinator for the suite of awards we deliver, my former role as Vice Chair of the Scottish Training Federation, my board membership of MAG (Modern Apprenticeship Group) and last, but by no means least, having attained the SVQ level 4 award in Management myself. My role is to manage and grow our vocational provision and delivery. I thrive on meeting new and existing clients and assisting them to identify a customised package of training for their staff ranging from Senior Management level to shop floor personnel. I power walk in an attempt to keep body and mind fit and was delighted to complete the Edinburgh Moonwalk Marathan in June 2010. |

I have worked for The Tell Organisation since its inception in 1989, having previously worked for Betty McCrea, Tell's founding Director. I have 30 years' experience of management of a finance office. My role involves the day-to-day running of the finance office, management of the company's accounting system, and estates management of our premises, vehicles and equipment. I am well supported by a first class team. An advocate of lifelong learning, I completed the ECDL course with Tell a few years ago and wish I had done it sooner, it was so useful. I am a lifetime honorary member of Helensburgh AAC - although more likely to be seen walking these days! Other passions include travel, dance and musical theatre. |

I have been working with Tell since 1992 when I joined the company following completion of a post graduate Diploma in Information and Administrative Management. I have experience of a broad range of personal development programmes having designed and delivered employability programmes, vocational training programmes and computer training programmes. I lead a committed and effective team delivering management development and computer application training programmes. Following Dumbarton FC has enabled me to see many towns in Scotland and explains the grey hair! |

As a graduate in Management with Law and having over 20 years of management experience, 13 of them in the training sector, I have had the privilege of recently joining the Tell Organisation. My role is to provide business solutions for organisations and training solutions for individuals, ensuring at all time that our customers receive a quality service. It is immensely satisfying to be involved in the training field and I have a passion in particular for work based learning and the personal development of others. I have experience of many industry sectors and have led numerous initiatives that have won training awards over the years. I have also been involved in National Steering Groups such as MAG (Modern Apprenticeship Group), and Skillseekers Steering Group and was also either member and/or Chair of Scotland's Colleges Work Based Learning Steering Group for a number of years. |
