The Programme Centre exists primarily to help jobseekers into employment.  Jobsearch resources and advice are available to those who are motivated and actively seeking either employment or training to improve their employment prospects.

People are eligible to join the Programme Centre if they:

Have been the victim of a large scale redundancy

Have been unemployed for 6 months or more

Are on the New Deal Lone Parent caseload

Are returning to the labour market

Have just left the forces

On the New Deal 25+ caseload

On the New Deal 18-24 Follow-Through Programme

On the New Deal 50+ caseload

As a Programme Centre member you will have access to:

Help with producing a professional-standard CV

One-to-one meetings with experienced jobsearch staff

Newspapers and other publications to help your search

Job vacancies which may not be advertised elsewhere

Telephone, Fax, Computers, E-mail and the Internet

Assistance with application forms, interview techniques and letters

Photocopy facilities, stationery and stamps

AND your travel expenses to the Programme Centre will be paid!
