All workshops are of 3.5 hours duration
 9:00am to 12:30pm (Please arrive at 8:45am)


1 - Manage Yourself

This workshop is about supervisors developing their skills and managing their time so that they can better meet company objectives - A highly interactive workshop.

Supervisors will benchmark their current skills and learn new ones.

2 - Effective Communication Skills

The effective supervisor must master the skills of effective communication with team members, colleagues, senior managers (internal and external), so the importance of communication cannot be underestimated.

3 - Leading Your Team

Supervisors must exercise effective leadership; a combination of art and craft, skills and understanding of human nature, this is no mean feat!

4 - Reporting on Results

Reporting on Results is necessary for supervisors.  This workshop covers all the key points and provides scope for the practice of reporting, both verbally and in writing.

This workshop will be delivered by Stuart Moffat, a highly experienced senior manager, whose sense of humour serves only to underline the importance of the points he gets across to candidates.

5 - Appraising Performance

Supervisors are required to assume the responsibility for managing the performance of team members.

Including case studies and role-play, this interactive workshop covers key theory and practice for supervisors to appraise performance effectively - promising handy hints and tips to supervisors for discharging their responsibilities.

6 - Managing Safety

All supervisors have a responsibility to take a proactive role in ensuring the safety, health and welfare of their teams.

Using case studies, this workshop provides supervisors with the knowledge and tools to enable them to make an effective contribution to their business.
