MA/SVQ Engineering Maintenance Level 3

bookthiscourse

Duration : Approximately 1 year

At Tell our approach to the delivery of Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) is to consult with you, the employer, to ensure that the Personal Training and Development programme suits your business needs and helps to provide you with the competitive edge you need to support your business growth.

The SVQ at Level 2 in Performing Engineering Operations is accredited against the National Standards by EMTA Awards Ltd (EAL).

To achieve this SVQ at level 2, candidates are required to complete 8 units.  The 3 mandatory units detailed overleaf, plus either one unit from Group A and four from Group B or five units from Group B.  Candidates attend an appropriate college where they will be supported by their trainers in engineering workshops and class group sessions where they will develop practical ‘hands-on’ experience based on your choice of SVQ level 2 optional units.

Before starting the programme, we will consult with you to identify the training and development needs of your business.  We would agree the course content - the selection of the optional units and choice of training workshops, - you wish your apprentice to undertake while at college.  This ensures the SVQ and associated training is tailored to the requirements of the business, and the candidate’s job role within it.
Costs include awarding body Registration and Certification fees, Training, Assessment, and Verification will be met via the Government’s Skillseekers programme.
