Performing Eng Operations (PEO2)

Engineering covers a wide range of sectors and activities, and is a fast moving and diverse industry with many occupational routes including a significant number of roles at Technician level. Foundation Apprenticeships, Modern Apprenticeships and Graduate level Apprenticeships can be supportive in meeting the needs of the sector in many areas of engineering skills requirements.

The Level 2 qualification is completed prior to starting the Level 3 qualification and training is generally carried out off-the-job at a local College generally on a day-release or block basis or in some instances, full time.

To achieve this qualification, candidates must complete 3 mandatory units and 5 optional units as listed below. Core Skills are not required for the Level 2 qualification.
